General

You are welcome to come down to watch training and see what goes on at Charnwood AC. Please do not just turn up expecting to train as not all groups train on each night or necessarily at the time you turn up. If you want to come and have a go then please get in touch via our contact form and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Training is held at the Loughborough University Track on a Monday and Wednesday evening from 6.30pm to 8:30pm. Our training groups train on either or both evenings, depending on track and coach availability. Your first session is free to try it out and then training fees apply. For details of the current fees please see the available sessions here

If you would like to find out more, please get in touch via our contact form or come down to the club house on a Monday or Wednesday evening and ask someone to point you in the direction of whichever event in which you would like to train. Be aware that the group you are interested in may not be training at the track on the day and time you come down, but someone should be able to give you some more information and answer your questions.

Membership

Membership is £55.00 per annum and runs from 1st March each year to the end of February the following year, and entitles you to pay members’ rates for training and to compete for the club. It also covers your affiliation to England Athletics. Families are entitled to a reduced membership rate of £45.00 for the third and subsequent family member living at the same address.

Training Fees

Training fees are an additional cost to membership and are paid online when you book each training session. You can only book a session if you are a current member. Online bookings cost £4 a session and can be made up to 7 days in advance. If you make a booking it is possible to then reschedule the booking yourself prior to the session start. Please look in the 'My Account' section of the website as shown in the menu in Step 3 below.

Register

Click on the Register / Log In link in the top right of the web page to register on the website and get access to the membership area where the online forms are.

You can also access the training bookings area and the club shop

Step 2

Sign Up / Log In

Fill in your details to sign-up for the website. You will be approved and receive an email confirming your access. Click on the link in the email you will receive, and you can start.

​

If you have already signed up, then click on 'Log In' and enter your details to access the site.

Clicking on your name shows the menu and you can click on New Member or Renewal forms depending on which you need to fill in.

​

You can also access the club shop where you can buy competition vests, hoodies and training jackets

Fill in the form fields and continue through the form by clicking on the 'Continue' button in the bottom right

Do not use the browser 'Back' button as this will cause you to lose the information you have entered

Payment

Submit the form and add the membership to your shopping cart.

Make sure to select the start month (if New member), No (or Yes) if the third family member of the club and enter the Athlete Name so the payment is matched to the form
